Antigua is a tropical paradise located in the Leeward Island of the Caribbean.

Antigua is one of the top holiday and vacation destinations in the world, with 365 white sandy beaches.  The Island has a great repertoire of authentic local Caribbean and Antiguan dishes.

We will be touring the Island of Antigua and discover its unique culinary repertoire. The Island of Antigua has culinary influences from the Spanish, French and the English.

You will enjoy dishes such as the Pepper Pot, Curried Conch, Seasoned Rice, Snapper in Banana Leaves, and our famous Antigua Black pineapple pie.

Antigua is famous for its world renowned English Harbor five year rum which received a Gold Medal award in the 2005 World Spirit Competition held in San Francisco. Ranking it as one of the best tasting Rum’s in the world.

Your tour will consist of:

  • 10 days of luxurious Island accommodations just minutes from the beach.
  • Hands–on cooking classes, daily continental buffet breakfast, served lunch and dinner.
  • Build your Carnival Costume in our costume making arts and craft class
  • Ladies will spend a day at the Galley Bay Resort & Spa.
  • Gentlemen enjoy a day enjoying golf at our local golf resort.
  • Visit to the local farmers market and dining at the local restaurants.
  • Visit from a local chef.
  • Day trip to the Sister Island of Barbuda known for its great pink sand beaches. Your group will enjoy a great Barbuda lobster lunch with great beach fun and enjoyment of a local steel band music night.
  • Deep Sea Fishing.
  • Local cruise, beach picnic and Duty Free shopping.

Day One

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the Villa, arrive at the Villa and enjoy a grand welcome with Island cocktails and dinner prepared by Freda and her assistants.

Day Two

Morning hands-on cooking class with Freda at the Villa, tour the local village after lunch and relax on the nearby beach.

Afternoon local tropical cocktail tasting with a local bartender followed by preparing dinner together during afternoon class at the Villa. Build your own costume in our carnival costume making arts and craft class

Day Three

Morning tour of the local farmers market followed by lunch at a local Island restaurant. Demonstration and tasting by our local Chef Jones, owner of Jones Island Restaurant and Catering. Afternoon cooking class using ingredients we bought at the market.

Day Four

All day excursion on our local Island cruise. We will tour secluded off Island sites, enjoy a fantastic lobster lunch Buffet, with an early relaxing pool side picnic dinner with cocktails.

Day Five

Morning hands-on cooking class at the villa.  Afternoon excursion of the city town of St. Johns enjoying free time for shopping, stock up on Duty Free shopping for French perfumes, local rum, leather goods, jewelry followed by an early beach picnic dinner while enjoying the local Island sunset.

Day Six

Morning Tour to Antigua Sister Island Barbuda, you will enjoy a Great Barbuda lobster lunch with fun time and relaxation on the most glorious pink sand beaches. In the afternoon ladies will enjoy a day out at the Galley Bay Resort & Spa. Gentlemen will enjoy a day out golfing at our local resort golf course followed by a relaxing dinner back at our Villa or dinner on your own.

Day Seven

After breakfast we head off to our Deep Sea fishing tour off the coves on the Island and enjoy the tour with our local crew as you fish for the local catch.  You will get to enjoy the fruits of your labor with our catch of the day for lunch. The evening is left for you to party like at the local nightclubs.

Day Eight

Choose 2 Adventure Activities

There is so much to see and do, here is a chance to decide what activities of your choosing to include:

Zip Line Tour is a series of nine cables and eleven platforms suspended high above the forest floor where you will be able to appreciate breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.

Take the adventurous route to explore the surrounding area on a tour guided ATV tour (all-terrain vehicle). Drive along the country roads and through tropical forests of Fig Tree Drive and see The Antigua Black Pineapple Farms and Mango Farms. Enjoy neighboring towns along the way where you can enjoy a swim or do some surfing.

Day Nine

St Johns Foodie Walking Tour

Put on some comfy shoes and get ready to experience some amazing tastes and some amazing sights while you make your way through the historic town of St. Johns, the Capital City of Antigua.

Sample an abundance of street food and specialty foods prepared in small, quaint restaurants…and experience some off-the-beaten-path sightseeing while you’re at it. This tour allows you to sample some of the local Antigua specialties. So bring your appetite!

Day Ten

Good bye breakfast and farewells. Depending on your flight schedule enjoy extra time for relaxing at the beach or some last minute shopping.  A bus will transfer you to the airport.
